The Savage Gear Gravity Shallow is a floating hardbait for saltwater sea bass fishing. Its small curved lip produces a rolling action just below the surface, allowing you to fish above weed beds and around rocks or sunken trees in river mouths. The medium-sized body offers a smaller presentation than a long minnow when sea bass respond to a more compact lure.
A three-metal weight-transfer system supports long casts and steady flight, helping you reach shallow-water holding areas. The body's four flat surfaces grip the water and reflect light in four directions as the lure rolls. A built-in rattle adds an audible signal to this flashing presentation. The body follows the same design philosophy as the Gravity Pencil.
The 10 cm, 14 g version is the smaller, lighter option and carries size #5 trebles. The 11.5 cm, 20 g version offers a larger profile and carries size #4 trebles. Its weight-transfer system combines lead, tungsten and steel. Choose according to the lure size you want to present and the weight your tackle can cast. Both versions float and run shallow, so the larger version is not a deep-diving alternative.
