The 9cm model excels in shallow water (under 1m), shallow bays, and around tight cover where precision is key. The 11cm is the versatile middle ground, perfect for general shallow to medium-depth work (1–3m) and mixed conditions. The 13cm achieves maximum casting distance and targets larger predators; use it in open water, deep shallows (to 1m), and when you need maximum visibility or aggressive surface disturbance.
Sardine and Imperial Sardine match natural baitfish and work well in clear to moderately stained water; Imperial Sardine offers slightly more contrast. Pink Belly Sardine adds contrast and visibility in murky or bright conditions. Black Mullet is excellent in low light, overcast skies, and dark water. White Glow is designed for night fishing, twilight, and ultra-murky conditions where phosphorescence aids visibility.
The ultra-long cast design combined with the weight distribution allows exceptional casting distance. The 9cm model achieves 25–35m easily; the 11cm reaches 35–45m; the 13cm is designed for extreme distance, regularly exceeding 50m. Distance improves with appropriate rod/reel setup and casting technique, and the aerodynamic shape maintains stability even at distance.
Yes. All Gravity Poppers are saltwater-rated with high-quality saltwater treble hooks and corrosion-resistant hardware. The through-wire construction provides the durability needed for hard-fighting sea bass, large perch, pike, and other saltwater predators. After saltwater use, rinse thoroughly with fresh water to extend the lure's lifespan.
The Hydro Lock Ribbing is an innovative ribbed pattern along the body that serves two purposes: it minimizes snagging of the leader on the rear hook (a common failure point on traditional poppers) while simultaneously creating extra bubble disturbance when the lure is worked, enhancing the attracting effect. This engineering detail makes the Gravity Popper more reliable and effective than conventional popper designs.
All Gravity Poppers are floating lures. They remain at the surface when stationary, allowing for popping and walking presentations. The floating design also makes them ideal for shallow-water work and reduces the risk of snagging on the bottom in snaggy areas.

The Savage Gear Gravity Popper series combines rock-solid construction with innovative design for explosive topwater action. Built with through-wire construction and engineered for extreme long-distance casting, these poppers deliver the popping sounds and bubble trails that trigger aggressive strikes from predatory fish.
Each Gravity Popper is built around a core of quality and reliability. The dimpled popping cup creates distinctive popping sounds while trapping air to produce extra bubble disturbance. An innovative Hydro Lock Ribbing system minimizes the risk of the leader snagging on the rear hook, a common issue with traditional poppers, while contributing to the bubble effect. The body carries a strong through-wire construction for durability in hard fighting, and all hooks are high-quality saltwater-rated trebles.
Available in three sizes to match different water conditions and target species: 9cm (13.5g) for precise presentations in shallow water and around cover, 11cm (25g) for medium-distance work and mixed conditions, and 13cm (40g) for maximum casting distance and larger predators.
Each size comes in multiple color patterns: natural baitfish imitations (Sardine, Imperial Sardine) for clear to moderately turbid water, Pink Belly Sardine for contrast and visibility, Black Mullet for low-light conditions, and White Glow for night fishing and ultra-low visibility. All colors feature realistic detailing with strong contrast between belly and back.
