Every size comes in six single colours plus Clear Water Mix and Dark Water Mix, with five softbaits per pack. The Savage Gear Gobster Shad is a goby-shaped softbait for freshwater lure fishing for perch, pike and zander. Its flat, detailed goby profile and split tail create turbulence and vibration through a kicking swimming action, drawing predators' attention. It can be mounted on a jig head or rigged on offset and EWG (Extra Wide Gap) hooks.
Use a jig head for jigging, or choose an offset or EWG hook for a weedless presentation. The back slot accommodates these hooks, giving you a rigging alternative where an exposed hook is less suitable. The lure supports both approaches without changing to another body design.
The line has three size and weight combinations: 7.5 cm at 5 g, 9 cm at 9 g, and 11.5 cm at 16 g per lure. Choose 7.5 cm for the smallest, lightest goby profile, 11.5 cm for a larger, heavier presentation, or 9 cm between the two. All three share the same target species and rigging options, so the choice changes the body size and weight rather than the basic setup.
