These sea fishing travel rods are built for rough Nordic boat-fishing conditions and large cod, coalfish and halibut. Strong Japanese Torayca carbon blanks and a moderate-fast action provide the power to work heavy lures and fight large fish from depth.
Both versions are 2 m long with three sections. The 150–400 g version has Extra Heavy power, a 20–30 lb line rating and a rod weight of 312 g. Choose it for the lower lure-weight range. The 200–600 g version has Extra Extra Heavy power, a 30–50 lb line rating and weighs 323 g. It accommodates heavier lures at the cost of 11 g more rod weight and a higher minimum lure rating.
Designed for baitcasting or multiplier reels, the rods use a FUJI reel seat to secure the reel. SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings guide the line. The premium cork handle offers comfortable grip, including in wet boat conditions.
Both rods break down to 71 cm for suitcase transport, so check your luggage's internal dimensions. A velvet rod bag is included for storing the sections together.
