The Defiance SG2 Shore Jigging series delivers outstanding casting distance and precise lure control for demanding saltwater shore fishing with jigs and heavy lures.
Built from 24T and 30T high-modulus carbon fibre, these rods feature extra-powerful reinforced blanks that transfer every rod movement directly to your jig or lure – even at extreme casting distances and in deep water. The moderate fast action provides both sensitivity and backbone for fighting strong saltwater species over rough seabeds.
Every rod in the range is equipped with SeaGuide Gold Label reel seats and SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides in a CCS (Concept Combined Setting) layout. This combination ensures reliable line flow, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability under harsh saltwater conditions.
Tough EVA split grip handles with Duragrip 70 material provide secure hold during long sessions and powerful fights. Each rod comes with a deluxe cloth rod bag for safe transport.
The range covers casting weights from 15–60 g up to 60–150 g in two lengths (2.90 m and 3.05 m), allowing anglers to match rod power and length to their target species and fishing conditions. All models are two-piece constructions with transport lengths of 149–157 cm.
