All are 17.5 cm long. The 39 g S version sinks and targets 1–20 m, the 50 g FS version sinks fast and targets 1–30 m, and the 70 g XFS version sinks extra fast and targets 1–50 m. Choose by target depth and sinking behaviour, noting that the deeper-range versions also weigh more and carry larger trebles.
No, all three versions are sinking pencils with target-depth ranges starting at 1 m. Use twitches for sliding action and flashes, then sinking pauses for strong vibration and a loud rear rattle. Choose the sink rate and depth range for the water layer you want to fish.
It is intended for saltwater fishing for amberjacks, snappers, mahi mahi, bluefish, barracudas and tuna species. Its long-cast design supports reaching fish at distance, while the supplied SGY Saltwater UAR 4X NP trebles and through-wire construction are part of its marine-predator setup.
The lure comes with SGY Saltwater UAR 4X NP trebles. The 39 g version uses #4, the 50 g version #1 and the 70 g version #1/0. If hook size matters to your setup, choose the weight with that change in mind rather than treating all three versions as identically equipped.
No, the seven colour patterns are represented at 39 g, 50 g and 70 g. Choose the target-depth range and sinking behaviour first, then select the colour within that weight. Supplier colour-code endings vary, so check the exact variant name as well as the pattern.

The Savage Gear Deep Walker 2.0 is a 17.5 cm sinking pencil for saltwater lure fishing. Its long-cast design helps reach fish at distance, while the realistic profile and half-lip design produce a sliding action and flashes when twitched. It is intended for amberjacks, snappers, mahi mahi, bluefish, barracudas and tuna species.
Work the lure with twitches to make it slide and flash, then let it sink to add strong vibration and a loud rattle to the presentation. The rear rattle provides an audible signal on the drop, so the lure offers attraction during both active retrieval and sinking pauses. VMS (Vivid Movement System) is part of the design.
All versions retain the 17.5 cm profile. Weight changes the sink rate, target-depth range and hook size, rather than the lure's length.
| Version | Sinking behaviour | Target depth | Treble size | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 39 g S | Sinking | 1–20 m | #4 | | 50 g FS | Fast sinking | 1–30 m | #1 | | 70 g XFS | Extra fast sinking | 1–50 m | #1/0 |
Choose the 39 g version for the lowest lure weight and the 1–20 m target range. The 50 g version extends the range to 30 m with faster sinking, while the 70 g version sinks fastest and reaches the widest stated range, up to 50 m. Moving to a deeper-range version also increases the casting weight and hook size. These are supplier target-depth ranges, not a fixed running depth on every retrieve.
The strong Wired Thru construction uses a continuous wire through the lure body. It is paired with SGY Saltwater UAR 4X NP trebles for the stated marine-predator use. The hook specification changes with lure weight as shown above.
The family includes Barracuda Photo Print, Pink Barracuda Photo Print, Sardine PHP, Bloody Anchovy PHP, Mackerel Ayu, Sayoris Photo Print and Pink White Yellow. The supplier uses the colour codes BCUDA, PBCUDA, SARDINE, BA, MAC AYU, SAYORIS and PWY, with PHP or P where stated. Each colour is offered at 39 g, 50 g and 70 g, so choose the weight and sinking behaviour independently of the colour pattern.
