The 6.8 cm/3 g and 8 cm/5 g versions are described for perch and zander, while 10 cm/9 g also covers pike spinning. The 12.5 cm/20 g and 15 cm/33 g versions are described for pike and zander. Choose 17.5 cm/52 g or 20 cm/80 g when you want the larger pike presentations, bearing in mind their higher lure weight.
The concave head shape helps position a jighead against the soft body. The paddle tail works on both the drop and retrieve, so the lure provides movement during the falling phase as well as under pull. The stated 3–80 g weights describe the lure itself, not a complete weighted setup.
Pack count depends on size: 6.8, 8 and 10 cm contain five lures, 12.5 cm contains four, 15 and 17.5 cm contain two, and 20 cm contains one. Each pack contains the selected colour. Colour choices differ by size, with Firetiger, Blue Pearl, Red Head and White Black offered here only in 17.5 and 20 cm, so check both size and colour before choosing.
No. The supplier lists freshwater use but also names cod and describes the 15, 17.5 and 20 cm versions for marine predators. Those larger sizes weigh 33, 52 and 80 g respectively, giving you distinct lure sizes and weights to choose from for that use.

The Savage Gear Cannibal Shad is a sinking soft paddle-tail lure for active predator fishing. Its flexible tail section and paddle tail produce a lively action both as it falls and as it is retrieved, keeping the lure moving through both phases of the presentation. The line covers perch, trout, pike, zander, catfish and cod, with sizes from 6.8 to 20 cm.
The concave head shape helps position a jighead against the lure. The smaller versions are described for jigging, while the larger versions are intended for active spinning for predators. Choose the lure size and weight for your intended presentation, rather than treating all sizes as interchangeable.
The weight shown is the lure's own weight. The following combinations are available, each in the selected colour:
Length | Lure weight | Pack contents | Supported use |
|---|---|---|---|
6.8 cm | 3 g | 5 lures | Compact presentation for perch and zander |
8 cm | 5 g | 5 lures | Jigging for perch, zander and pike |
10 cm | 9 g | 5 lures | Spinning for perch, zander and pike |
12.5 cm | 20 g | 4 lures | Pike and zander fishing |
15 cm | 33 g | 2 lures | Pike, zander and marine predators |
17.5 cm | 52 g | 2 lures | Larger presentation for pike and large marine predators |
20 cm | 80 g | 1 lure | Largest presentation for pike and large marine predators |
Moving up in size gives you a larger, heavier lure, but fewer lures per pack. The 6.8, 8 and 10 cm versions offer compact options, while the 17.5 and 20 cm versions provide the largest presentations. The supplier lists freshwater use and also describes cod and marine predator fishing.
The revised injection process produces twin, triple and firetail colour designs across the range, with sparkle, glitter and ultraviolet (UV) additions. The lures are UV-active. Colour availability differs by size.
The 6.8, 8, 10 and 12.5 cm sizes are offered in Firecracker, Lemon Cracker, Green Pearl Yellow, Olive Hot Orange, Holo Baitfish, Chartreuse Pumpkin, White Flash, Fluorescent Yellow Glow, Motor Oil UV and Purple Glitter Bomb. The 15 cm size is offered in Lemon Cracker, Green Pearl Yellow, Motor Oil UV, Olive Hot Orange, Holo Baitfish and Chartreuse Pumpkin. The 17.5 and 20 cm sizes use those same six colours plus Firetiger, Blue Pearl, Red Head and White Black. Select the size first, then check the available colour and pack count.
