Savage Gear Bloody Assist Hook SJ double assist hooks are designed for advanced slow-jigging anglers and also suit light jigging and light shore jigging. Lightweight, strong hooks combine sharp points with a wide gap and an aggressive point angle to help set the hook quickly on contact.
The cord length is designed for mounting at either the head or tail of slow-jigging jigs across different jig styles. These assist sets can also be fitted to pirks. The full wrapping helps hold the hooks in their working position, while the anti-tangle design helps keep the rig free of tangles during presentation.
The hooks use Japanese XC75 carbon steel for a light yet strong construction. Red PE (polyethylene) cord has a fluorocarbon core. The full wrappings are epoxy coated and scratch-free, helping protect the lure where the wrapped section makes contact.
Choose from hook sizes 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0. The 1/0 version is the smallest, 2/0 is intermediate and 3/0 is the largest, so the hook size is the key difference when matching the set to your jig.
