They are intended for trolling lures or baits at higher speeds and are also suitable for spinning. The supplier lists pike, zander and perch fishing and all water types, so either size can be selected for these applications according to the required size and strength rating.
Size 2 (M) is rated at 24 kg breaking strength, while size 4 (L) is rated at 48 kg. Both have ball bearings and snaps and come in packs of six. Choose the 48 kg version when you need the higher stated strength, noting that it also carries the larger size designation.
The ball bearing lets the swivel rotate to help reduce line twist, while the snap allows quick lure attachment. This combines a rotating connection with a fastening you can open for lure changes, rather than a plain snap alone.

Savage Gear Ball Bearing Snaps are ball-bearing swivels with snaps for quickly attaching lures. They are intended for trolling lures or baits at higher speeds and can also be used for spinning. The ball bearing allows rotation to help reduce line twist, while the snap provides a quick attachment point when changing lures.
The supplier lists use for pike, zander and perch fishing and suitability for all water types. Both versions share the ball-bearing construction and snap attachment, so the choice between them is size and breaking strength rather than a different fishing technique.
Size 2 (M) has a stated breaking strength of 24 kg. Size 4 (L) has a stated breaking strength of 48 kg. Choose size 4 when the higher strength rating is required, or size 2 for the smaller size designation and lower rating. Each pack contains six swivels of the selected size.
