The Alpha SG6 Swimbait series is built for anglers who fish large swimbaits and want a casting rod that stays comfortable, controlled and responsive through long sessions. Both 2.41 m models combine fast action, strong backbone and lightweight blanks so large lures can be cast and worked with confidence.
These rods were created specifically for Savage Gear's big bait applications. The fast action helps load and recover quickly, giving good control over heavy swimbaits and enough reserve power for solid hooksets.
The blank uses Japanese Torayca 30/40T carbon with a 1+1 construction. According to the supplier data, this gives the rod a light but powerful feel with the sensitivity needed to register cautious takes while staying forgiving enough for lure control.
Each variant is fitted with a Fuji reel seat, SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings and a premium cork handle. A ready-to-fish rod bag is also included.
Both versions share the same 2.41 m length, fast action and transport length of 1.92 m. Choose the 80-150 g model for large swimbaits in the lighter end of the range, or the 130-250 g model when you fish heavier big baits and want even more lifting power.
