These freshwater casting rods are built for jerkbait fishing, including pike fishing. Their fast action and powerful backbone support casting, working the lure and setting the hook. The balanced, lightweight blanks are responsive yet forgiving, helping you control the lure and detect subtle contact.
Japanese Torayca 30/40T carbon blanks use the specified 30/40T Toray + 4X Wrap construction. Full premium cork rear handles provide the grip for repeated lure work. A Fuji reel seat holds the reel, while SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings guide the line.
The 1.98 m version is rated 30–90 g with Heavy power, weighs 192 g and packs to 156 cm. Choose it for the lighter end of this family's jerkbait range and the shorter transport length. The 2.06 m version is rated 50–140 g with Extra Heavy power, weighs 206 g and packs to 164 cm. It accommodates heavier jerkbaits, at the cost of greater rod weight and transport length. Both have a 1+1 section layout and come with a Competition Ready-to-fish rod bag.
