The ALPHA SG6 BIG BAIT spinning rods are built for casting and working large softbaits and hardbaits in freshwater, including pike fishing. Their responsive Moderate Fast action and strong backbone support hooksets even at long casting distances.
Japanese Torayca 30/40T carbon blanks use the specified 30/40T Toray + 4X Wrap construction. Ergonomically shaped premium full-cork handles provide grip and comfort during repeated casting and lure work. A FUJI reel seat holds the reel, while SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN Rings guide the line.
The 2.21 m model has a 60–100 g casting weight, Heavy power and a rod weight of 175 g. It is the shortest and lightest option, with a transport length of 114 cm.
The 2.43 m model has a 70–130 g casting weight, Extra Heavy power and a rod weight of 189 g. Choose it for the highest lure-weight capacity in the family. Its transport length is 126 cm.
The 2.59 m model has a 10–100 g casting weight, Heavy power and a rod weight of 199 g. It offers the greatest length and a lower minimum lure rating than the 2.21 m model, with the same 100 g upper limit, but is heavier and takes up more transport space at 130 cm.
