These freshwater spinning rods are built for casting and working big baits for pike. Their reinforced, progressive 24+30T High Modulus Carbon blanks provide the power needed for heavy lures, firm hook-sets and strong fish. All five versions have a Moderate Fast action.
The 35–100 g versions have Extra Heavy power. Choose 2.21 m for the shortest rod and smallest transport length (116 cm, 213 g), or 2.59 m for more reach (135 cm packed, 217 g). The 2.43 m, 50–110 g version offers an intermediate lure range with Extra Heavy power, a 229 g rod weight and 127 cm transport length.
For heavier lures, the 70–150 g versions have Extra Extra Heavy power. The 2.43 m version weighs 262 g and packs to 127 cm. The 2.59 m version adds reach but weighs 279 g and needs 135 cm of transport space. Choose the casting range to suit your lures, then compare length, weight and packed size.
The range suits freshwater predator fishing from bank or boat. Nine SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings, including the tip guide, guide the line during casting and retrieving. The Double Lock reel seat secures the reel under load. A full Duragrip 70 handle provides a continuous gripping surface. All versions are black, split into two sections and include a Competition Ready-To-Fish rod bag for protection during transport.
