Choose the 6.5 cm, 9 g version for the stated 1–3 m range, the 7.3 cm, 13 g version for 2–4 m, or the 8 cm, 18 g version for 2–6 m. The deeper-range options also increase lure size, casting weight and hook size, so select the complete size and weight combination rather than depth alone.
Retrieve at different speeds and occasionally let it fall on a tight line. The body runs straight with subtle vibration and flash, and the rear blade starts rotating on water contact. Its action works on both the retrieve and the drop, so you can include sinking pauses instead of only retrieving continuously.
It is a freshwater predator lure for perch, asp, trout, pike, bass and zander, suitable for spinning and baitcasting tackle. Pick the 9 g, 13 g or 18 g version to suit the stated depth range and the lure weight you intend to cast.
Each pack contains one lure in the chosen colour with one ultra-sharp SGY 1X BN hook. The 9 g lure uses size #10, the 13 g lure #8 and the 18 g lure #6. Hook size therefore follows the weight version you choose, not the colour.
All listed variants are unscented, but they contain lead. You can choose any of the five colours without adding scent, but none of these variants meets a lead-free requirement.

The Savage Gear 3D Sticklebait Tailspin is a long-casting, sinking tailspinner for freshwater predator fishing. Its straight-running body produces subtle vibration and flash, while the rear spinner blade starts rotating as soon as the lure hits the water. It works both while being retrieved and while sinking, keeping the presentation active through retrieve pauses. It is intended for perch, asp, trout, pike, bass and zander.
Cast out and retrieve at different speeds, occasionally letting the lure sink on a tight line. This combines its straight-running retrieve with its action on the drop rather than relying on a constant retrieve alone. It can be fished with spinning or baitcasting tackle.
The three size options pair a specific weight with a stated running-depth range. Choose the smaller, lighter version for the shallower range or move to the larger versions when you want the deeper stated range.
Length | Weight | Running depth | Hook size |
|---|---|---|---|
6.5 cm | 9 g | 1–3 m | #10 |
7.3 cm | 13 g | 2–4 m | #8 |
8 cm | 18 g | 2–6 m | #6 |
Moving up in size also means more weight and a larger hook, so depth choice changes the lure's size and tackle load as well. All three sizes share the same retrieve and drop action.
Each size is available in Firetiger, Brown Trout Smolt, Green Silver Ayu, Black/Red and Black Silver. Choose the colour separately from the size and depth combination. Each pack contains one lure with one ultra-sharp SGY 1X BN hook in the size shown above. The lures are unscented and contain lead.
