The Savage Gear 3D Sticklebait Pencil is a compact hard bait for predator fishing in shallow water, especially when you want long casts and plenty of flash on the twitch. Based on a 3D scan of a real stickleback, it combines a slim profile, built-in rattle, and a lively sinking action for sea trout, perch, and other hunting fish.
With its high-backed profile and slim body, this lure gives off a kicking action on a steady retrieve and a bright flash when twitched. On the drop it shimmers and shakes, which helps keep the lure working even between rod movements.
The compact body and long-cast design make it easy to cover shoreline water, harbours, and other open areas where distance matters. The running depth of about 0.5 to 1 m suits shallow presentations over active fish.
The body is made from strong ABS plastic and fitted with an internal rattle for extra attraction. Each lure is supplied with an SGY 1X treble hook and a GPS single hook, so you can choose the setup that best matches your water and target species.
Choose by lure size, weight, sink rate, and colour pattern. The 5.5 cm 7 g versions are the most finesse-oriented, the 6.5 cm 10.5 g versions offer a balanced middle ground, and the 7.5 cm models give the biggest profile with either slow sinking 13 g or sinking 17 g performance.
