The Savage Gear 3D Soft Line Thru Sandeel is a premium sea trout lure based on a high-resolution 3D scan of a real sandeel, delivering incredibly lifelike details that fool even wary predators.
This soft bait swims with a seductive s-curve action, holding its head slightly upward for a natural sandeel profile. On the stop, it flutters and rolls backwards, triggering aggressive strikes from sea trout and other coastal predators.
The line-thru (LT) construction runs the leader through the body, allowing hooked fish to slide up the line and reducing leverage for fewer lost fish. Inside, a hard alloy core provides excellent casting weight and water grip, while a removable glass rattle at the rear adds acoustic attraction when desired.
Each lure comes pre-rigged with a ring-mounted SGY treble hook (size 5) and a GPS single hook (size 1/0), plus two hard beads and two UV-orange and two UV-red soft beads for added visual appeal. At 12.5 cm and 20 g, the sinking design covers depths from the surface down to roughly 1 m, making it ideal for coastal spin fishing.
The Sandeel is available in three colour options – Sandeel Glitter, Sandeel Ghost, and Red N Black – so you can match conditions from bright sunlight to overcast skies.
