The Savage Gear 3D Herring Shad Mix delivers lifelike herring imitation in a scented, soft-bodied paddle tail design. Available in three sizes and two colour mixes, the set covers a wide range of predator fishing situations in freshwater.
Based on a high-resolution scan of a real Baltic herring, the 3D Herring Shad reproduces the shape, fin detail and scale pattern of genuine prey fish. It also imitates other freshwater forage species such as whitefish and roach, making it versatile across different waters.
The loose-body paddle tail generates a pronounced rolling and kicking motion. The broad, flat flanks produce flash and vibration as the lure moves through the water, triggering reaction strikes from pike, perch and zander.
Moulded from super-soft PVC infused with an anise-based strike-triggering scent, the material allows a natural flex that enhances the swimming action. The softness also encourages predators to hold on longer after the initial strike.
