Use rod-tip twitches followed by pauses. Light twitches give subtle direction changes, stronger ones create sharper sideways darts, and the suspending lure stays still when paused. You can vary the presentation without changing the lure.
The suppliers identify perch, trout and zander, as well as bass and walleye. Its 9cm body and twitch-and-pause action are intended for active lure fishing, rather than a natural-bait presentation.
No. Holo Bleak, Holographic Blue, Green Tiger, Sexy Shad and Real Yellow Perch share the 9cm size and suspending action. Choose the decor you want, there are no supplied color-specific recommendations for water conditions.
The integrated Salmo Long Cast System supports longer casts with a lure weighing approximately 11.34g, converted from 2/5 oz. Internal rattles add sound during the retrieve, combining an acoustic signal with the direction-changing action.
You receive one Suspending lure in the selected color, fitted with Mustad KVD treble hooks and USA-made Rasco stainless steel split rings. The Deep Runner is a separate version and is not one of these five variants.
Yes. The supplier warns that the lure may contain lead or cadmium and that prolonged exposure can be harmful. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling, and avoid ingestion or contact with food.

The Salmo Rattlin' Sting Suspending is a 9cm hard-bodied twitchbait for active lure fishing for perch, trout and zander. Light rod-tip movements create subtle direction changes, while stronger twitches produce sharper, sideways darts that imitate a wounded fish. Its suspending action keeps the lure still during pauses, so you can alternate movement and stops rather than relying on a continuous retrieve. The supplier also identifies bass and walleye as target species.
The integrated Salmo Long Cast System (LC) supports longer casts with this compact lure. The stated weight of 2/5 oz converts to approximately 11.34g. Internal rattles add an audible attraction during the retrieve. Vary the intensity of your twitches to suit the predators' response, from gentle direction changes to an aggressive presentation.
The body uses High-Impact Plastic (HIP) and Ultrasonic Body Welding (UBW), with a polycarbonate diving lip and 3D eyes. Mustad KVD treble hooks provide the hooking points, and USA-made Rasco stainless steel split rings connect the hardware. Each lure is individually handcrafted, hand tuned and tank tested in Poland to check its action before use.
All five variants share the 9cm size, weight, suspending action and fitted hardware. Choose between Holo Bleak, Holographic Blue, Green Tiger, Sexy Shad and Real Yellow Perch. These are field-tested decor patterns, but no color-specific water conditions or performance advantages are specified. Your choice changes the decor, not the fishing method. Each pack contains one lure in the selected color. Although the supplier describes a separate Deep Runner version, this family contains only Suspending variants.
The supplier warns that this product may contain chemicals such as lead or cadmium and that prolonged exposure can be harmful. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling. Avoid ingestion and contact with food.
