The 2 cm version (2.8 g) is ultra-light and ideal for calm water and selective fish. The 3 cm version (4.3 g) offers slightly better casting distance and works well in faster water or when fishing larger fish. Both produce natural, tumbling action at the surface.
The Lil Bug is designed for freshwater fishing. While it may float in saltwater conditions, it is not recommended for regular saltwater use due to corrosion concerns with the treble hook.
Cast toward cover and retrieve with subtle movements to trigger strikes. For stream fishing, cast upstream and let it drift naturally with the current, using short, gentle twitches. The aerodynamic design makes it easy to cast into wind.
