Yes. The supplier describes a strong paddle-tail kick that retains its swimming action at any retrieve speed, together with body roll. You can vary the pace of your retrieve without having to change lure to keep that action.
No fixed depth is specified. The supplier lists variable swimming depth and different rigging applications, so choose the presentation for your fishing situation. Specific hook sizes, rig weights and numerical depth ranges are not supplied.
Check the lure, hooks and connections for damage before each use and do not continue with damaged parts. The supplier recommends a separate, closed tackle box kept dry, which helps prevent tangles, contact with sharp hooks and hook corrosion.

The Rapala Soft Peto is a soft plastic lure for active pike fishing. It carries over the action of the X-Rap® Peto in a fully soft body that allows different rigging applications. Its strong paddle tail keeps working at any retrieve speed, so you can change pace without losing the swimming action.
A wide tail kick combines with body roll. The textured soft plastic body moves water and increases vibrations, adding to the lure's movement as you retrieve it. A three-dimensional scale pattern and detailed finish give it a lifelike appearance.
Different rigging applications let you adapt the presentation to the situation. Swimming depth is variable, not a fixed diving-depth rating. The supplier does not specify particular hook sizes or rig weights, so select your setup for the chosen lure size rather than relying on a stated fixed depth.
The family has three size and weight combinations with the same described action:
Model code | Length | Lure weight | Position in the range |
|---|---|---|---|
SFPT16 | 16 cm | 36 g | Smallest and lightest presentation |
SFPT18 | 18 cm | 51 g | Intermediate size and weight |
SFPT22 | 22 cm | 94 g | Largest and heaviest presentation |
Choose by the lure profile you want to present and the load your tackle can handle. Moving from 16 to 22 cm gives you a larger lure but also increases its weight from 36 to 94 g. Allow for the weight of your chosen rig as well.
BLG, BLRC, FT, HLW, LAR, MNW, PEL, RTL, S, SCRR, SMB and SNS are available across all three sizes. BGH is available in 18 and 22 cm. The supplied colour names include Blue Glitter, Fire Tiger, Halloween, Lava Roach, Minnow, Live Perch, Live Rainbow Trout, Silver, Scaled Roach, Smelt On the Beach, Sunny Snow and Blue Ghost. These are finish choices, not different swimming actions.
Inspect the lure and rig before use, and stop using damaged parts. Store rigged lures in a separate, closed tackle box to prevent tangles and contact with sharp hooks. Keep the box dry to limit hook corrosion and keep lures away from unsupervised children and pets.
