It is intended for lure fishing for perch, zander and pike. Short twitches animate it at a slow retrieve, while strong jerks can turn it almost 180 degrees. Alternate these movements with pauses to change the presentation without changing the lure.
The Mavrik is described as suspending, holding a head-down position to imitate an injured fish. The documented 11 cm, 14 g versions run at 1.5–1.9 m, so they suit presentations in that layer rather than surface fishing.
No separate hook rigging is needed for the documented colour versions. They are fitted with three sharp VMC Redline treble hooks, specified as VMC 7544 CT in size #5. These details identify the supplied hook setup, but they are not confirmed for the variant without supplier data.
The eleven documented colours share 11 cm length, 14 g weight, 1.5–1.9 m running depth and the same hook specifications. Choose between their named finishes, as no colour-specific conditions are stated. The additional variant has no confirmed colour or individual specifications.

The Rapala Precision Xtreme Mavrik is a suspending twitchbait for lure fishing for perch, zander and pike. Its MaxCast system supports precise, long casts, helping you reach and work your chosen spot. The baitfish imitation combines a detailed 3D finish with a sturdy construction.
Short twitches let you animate the lure while retrieving slowly. Stronger jerks produce sharp directional changes and can turn it almost 180 degrees. On a pause, it suspends with its head down, imitating an injured fish. You can therefore alternate controlled movement, more forceful turns and a stationary presentation.
The documented 110 colour versions measure 11 cm, weigh 14 g and run at 1.5–1.9 m. Use that running depth to judge whether they will cover your intended water layer. They come fitted with three sharp VMC Redline treble hooks, specified as VMC 7544 CT in size #5, rather than requiring separate hook rigging.
The documented colour options are Bold Shad, Matte Shad, Metallic Yellow Perch, Pearl Sexy Shad, Metallic Glass Ghost, Ghost Shiner, Snow Storm, Pro Blue, Ghost Minnow, Metallic Silver and Emerald Shad. These versions share the stated length, weight, running depth and hook specifications, so the documented difference is the colour. No colour-specific water-clarity or light-condition guidance is supplied. A further family variant has no supplier description or colour information, so its individual specifications remain unconfirmed.
