The Countdown Squid brings Rapala's legendary Countdown method to squid and octopus fishing, letting you target cephalopods at exactly the depth you choose.
With a sink rate of approximately 30 cm per second, you can count down to your target depth and work the lure precisely where squid and octopus are hiding. This balsa construction provides the buoyancy and action needed to entice wary cephalopods from rocky structures and reef edges.
Equipped with a high-quality stainless steel double basket featuring 2x12 ultra-sharp points, this lure ensures that once a squid or octopus grabs hold, it stays hooked. The inox hooks resist corrosion in saltwater environments for long-lasting performance.
The Countdown Squid is available in two sizes to match your fishing conditions and target species. Select based on depth, current strength, and the size of cephalopods in your area.
