It is intended for active spinning for perch and trout. At 5.5 cm and 5 g, it offers the same small hardbait size in every colour, so you can change the finish without changing lure size or weight.
No, it sinks slowly rather than floating up during pauses. The stated running depth is 0.9 m, so account for continued sinking when pausing instead of treating it as a floating lure.
Only the colour differs in the supplied specifications. All eight versions share the same dimensions, sinking behaviour, running depth and size 12 VMC 7554 Black Nickel hooks. Choose your preferred colour, with one lure supplied per purchase rather than a mixed set.

The Rapala Countdown Elite is a slowly sinking hardbait for active lure fishing for perch and trout. Its modern construction is designed for long, accurate casts, helping you reach and target your chosen fishing spot. All eight colour variants measure 5.5 cm and weigh 5 g.
The lure retains the slow-sinking approach of the original CountDown. It continues to sink during pauses rather than floating back up. The stated running depth is 0.9 m, giving you a reference for its depth during retrieval.
The sturdy construction and strong split rings provide durable hardware for active predator fishing. Each lure is equipped with VMC 7554 Black Nickel hooks in size 12. These hook specifications are shared across the colours, so changing colour does not change the supplied hook equipment.
Choose from Gilded Gold Red, Gilded Hot Tiger, Gilded Inakko, Gilded Oikiwa, Gilded Fire Tiger, Gilded Gold Ayu, Gilded Parrot and Gilded Maiwashi. Colour is the only stated difference, with length, weight, sinking behaviour, running depth and hooks unchanged. No colour-specific water conditions or performance differences are specified. Each purchase includes one lure in the selected colour, not a colour assortment.
