The Ragot Mitraflash Aurora is a pre-tied five-hook sea rig designed to imitate small crustaceans. Iridescent filaments add movement and flashes, while phosphorescent beads improve visibility in dim light and deeper water.
Fine reflective filaments move with the current and give each hook an active profile. The luminous beads add another visual cue when natural light is limited, making the rig suitable for mackerel, cod, coalfish and pollack.
The range covers hook sizes from #6 to #5/0 with line diameters from 0.30mm to 0.80mm. Smaller hooks and finer line suit smaller fish and cautious bites, while larger hooks and heavier line are intended for larger sea fish and more demanding conditions. A three-pack option is also available in size #1/0.
These five-hook rigs are made for sea fishing from boat, pier or coast. They can be fished vertically as a mackerel rig or combined with a suitable weight or pilker according to local conditions.
