A Sbirolino (also called bombarde) is a weighted float for distance casting with light lures. It floats on the surface and allows you to cast lightweight lures much farther than hand-casting alone. The Quantum Missile Dartcaster is specifically designed for trout fishing in lakes and rivers.
Choose the weight based on your lure size, desired casting distance, and wind conditions. Lighter weights (10–13g) work best for calm conditions and delicate presentations with small lures. Heavier weights (16g and up) are ideal for windy days and larger lures.
Yes. The Quantum Sbiros are floating and work excellently on still-water trout lakes and ponds. Cast and retrieve at your desired depth, or fish it stationary as a traditional bobber float.
Available in chartreuse (high visibility in varying light) and red (excellent for overcast and low-light conditions). Chartreuse is offered in 10g, 13g, and 16g weights. Red is available in 13g.
