Prologic XD Distance Mono is a monofilament fishing line for freshwater carp fishing at long range. Its twin-ply copolymer construction combines high knot strength and abrasion resistance with very low memory. The limp, smooth line supports casting performance while retaining controlled stretch.
Very low memory reduces the line's tendency to retain coils from the spool, helping it stay supple when casting. High knot strength supports secure connections, while abrasion resistance helps where the line rubs against underwater surfaces. Controlled stretch provides some give under load, rather than the no-stretch behaviour of braid.
All versions have a solid Hi-Viz Yellow colour, making the line easier to see when monitoring its position. The moderate sink rate means it sinks rather than remaining on the surface, without being described as a fast-sinking line.
