The 3 m rods pack down to 111 cm, the 3.6 m rods to 112 cm and the 3.9 m rod to 115 cm. Choose by working length as well as weight, since the longer rods need only slightly more storage length.
The 3lb models have a 40 mm butt guide, compared with 50 mm on the 3.5lb models. At either 3 m or 3.6 m, the 3.5lb version weighs 40 g more. Choose the test curve and guide size together, rather than treating the versions as identical rods.
Seven telescopic sections and orange joint markers support quick setup and alignment. A protective hood, butt-guide protector and nylon sleeve with hook-and-loop fastening are included, so the collapsed rod can be stored with its guide area protected.

The Combat-Tele Shrink is a telescopic carp rod for freshwater anglers who want to save transport space and set up quickly. Seven telescopic sections collapse without dismantling separate rod pieces. Discreet orange alignment markers at each joint help you line up the sections before fishing.
The 3 m models pack down to 111 cm and weigh 140 g at 3lb or 180 g at 3.5lb. Choose these for the shortest working length and lowest weight in the family. The 3.6 m models pack down to 112 cm and weigh 200 g at 3lb or 240 g at 3.5lb. They offer more rod length for just 1 cm more transport length. The 3.9 m 3.5lb model is the longest option, weighs 260 g and packs down to 115 cm.
The 3lb versions have a 40 mm butt guide, while every 3.5lb version has a 50 mm butt guide. At the same length, the higher test curve also adds 40 g of rod weight. Test curve is not a stated casting-weight range, so no casting load in grams is specified here. The 3lb models are described for boilie rigs, classic carp hooklinks and method-feeder setups.
All models use a 24T low-resin carbon-epoxy blank with moderate action and a full-length Japanese shrink-tube grip. The continuous grip provides hand contact along the handle during casting and playing fish. Single-leg Minima guides and an anti-frap tip ring guide the line and help limit wrapping at the tip. Each rod has six guides including the tip and a DPS-style reel seat.
A protective hood and butt-guide protector protect the ring area during storage and transport. A nylon rod sleeve with hook-and-loop fastening is supplied. Orange whippings and a black anodised butt cap complement the minimalist finish. There is no hook keeper or gimbal.
