The 6000 holds more line (340m vs. 200m at 0.35mm) and retrieves 96cm per turn, making it ideal for longer-range presentations and larger fish. The 5000 retrieves 89cm per turn with less spool capacity, better for precise close-range fishing or lighter bait presentations. Both have identical 5.1:1 gearing and 11kg max drag. Choose 6000 for general carp work and 5000 for more finesse fishing.
You have two modes: free spool (traditional setting where the line spools freely when engaged, letting a carp take bait with almost no resistance) and open drag (where the reel acts as a normal carp reel with full drag engagement). The bite mode is set by adjusting the free-spool screw independently from the main drag. This lets you dial in exactly how much resistance a taking fish encounters.
The included spare spool is graphite, keeping total reel weight low and providing excellent corrosion resistance. This maintains performance consistency if you need to swap spools during your session.
The 6000 holds 340m of 0.35mm monofilament; the 5000 holds 200m at the same diameter. Both reels max out at 11kg drag, suitable for carp to mid-30s. They're designed for 0.35mm mono but can hold finer or heavier line — just adjust your capacity expectations accordingly.
Graphite is lighter than metal while remaining rigid enough for the forces of carp fishing. This weight savings matters during long sessions — you get a reel that feels balanced in the hand without fatigue, and the reduced inertia slightly speeds up retrieve. Metal options are heavier but don't provide meaningfully better durability for freshwater carp work.

These free-spool reels bring professional-grade drag control and innovative bite management to anglers who refuse to compromise on value. Built on a fixed-gear platform with graphite body and rotor for weight savings, each size balances sensitivity and power with a precise free-spool system and dual-mode drag for complete fishing choice.
The signature Bite & Fight system lets you fish two ways: traditional free spool for ultra-sensitive bite detection, or fully open drag for emergency drop-back control. The fast drag mechanism delivers instant braking power, while the free-spool adjustment prevents unnecessary resistance when a carp picks up your bait.
Fixed-gear construction ensures smooth, reliable power transmission without slippage. Graphite components keep weight down without sacrificing strength. Three steel ball bearings plus one anti-reverse bearing provide rock-solid operation. Each reel includes a spare graphite spool and EVA handle knob, with DuraGrease for smooth operation in hard use.
