Choose an individual Red, Green, Yellow or Blue alarm when you need a single unit. The 2+1+1, 3+1+1 and 4+1+1 sets contain two, three or four alarms respectively, plus one receiver and one bivvy light. Select the set by the number of alarms you need.
The alarms offer six volume levels, six sensitivity levels and six tones. You can adjust the audible signal and detection sensitivity to your preferences, while the LEDs provide a visible signal and one continues blinking for 20 seconds after a bite.
Each alarm needs one 9 V battery, and the set receiver needs three 1.5 V AAA batteries. Neither battery type is included, so obtain them before using the equipment. The bivvy light is USB rechargeable rather than powered by these replaceable batteries.
The receiver signals by light and sound, with optional vibration. The wireless bivvy light switches on for 5, 10 or 20 seconds when a bite occurs, giving light in the shelter. It can be hung by its metal hook or mounted using four internal magnets and a metal disc.
Each alarm has a 2.5 mm socket for illuminated hangers or swingers, so their connection must match that socket. The equipment is described as weatherproof. Wireless range is stated as 100 m depending on terrain, not a guaranteed distance at every fishing spot.
