It suits pole, waggler and feeder fishing with casters, maggots, worms and pinkies. All three sizes share this stated compatibility, so you can select the hook size for your bait presentation without changing the pattern when switching methods.
#12 is the largest hook in this selection, #16 the smallest, and #14 lies between them. Each has a medium gape, medium wire gauge and Black Nickel finish. Choose by hook size and bait presentation, not by a different coating or stated fishing method.
Each pack contains 15 loose hooks in the selected size. It is not a mixed-size assortment, so select #12, #14 or #16 when ordering.
The Black Nickel finish reduces reflections, giving the hook a less reflective surface for bait presentation. It is shared across all three sizes, so there is no finish difference to consider when choosing a variant.
Use a safe container and keep it out of children's reach. The supplier warns that the sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle them cautiously and dispose of used or damaged hooks safely rather than leaving them loose.

The Preston Natural N-40 is a loose bait hook for pole, waggler and feeder fishing in freshwater. Its medium gape and medium wire gauge suit casters, maggots, worms and pinkies, giving you the same hook pattern across all three methods. The supplier lists roach, bream, tench and carp as intended species.
The medium gape defines the space between the point and shank. The wire gauge is medium, not a fine-wire specification. The Black Nickel finish reduces reflections. No wire diameter or breaking strength is specified.
This selection comprises sizes #12, #14 and #16. Size #12 is the largest of these, #16 the smallest, and #14 sits between them. Choose the size to match your intended bait presentation. All three share the same stated methods, bait compatibility, finish and wire gauge, so the choice is hook size rather than a different application. The supplier states a wider model range of sizes 12–20. Each pack contains 15 hooks in the selected size.
These sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle them cautiously and check their suitability for the intended use. Transport and store them in a safe container, out of children's reach. Dispose of used or damaged hooks safely to prevent injury.
