Choose 3.2 m for up to 30 to 35 m, 3.4 m for about 40 m, 3.6 m for up to 50 m, 3.8 m for beyond 50 m, and 4.0 m for beyond 70 m.
The 3.8 m rod is intended for slower moving rivers, while the 4.0 m rod is designed for flowing rivers and better line clearance.
Match both the diameter and tip rating required by your compatible rod. Available Inspire tips are 2.5 mm in 14 to 57 g and 3.5 mm in 71 to 142 g.

The Preston Inspire range combines progressive actions with interchangeable quiver tips for controlled casting and fish playing. It includes five feeder rods and matching spare tips in two diameters and several tip ratings.
The progressive action cushions lunges while retaining the power needed to cast a feeder accurately. Minima-style guides reduce weight, while the flat cork and EVA handle provides a secure grip. Each rod also has an integrated hook keeper.
The 3.2 m model is intended for casts up to 30 to 35 m. The 3.4 m model reaches about 40 m and has a reinforced middle section. The 3.6 m all-round model reaches up to 50 m. Choose 3.8 m for casts beyond 50 m or slower rivers, and 4.0 m for casts beyond 70 m or flowing rivers.
The rod range runs from 30 g at 3.2 m to 120 g at 4.0 m. The 3.2 m and 3.4 m rods are two-piece models. The 3.6 m, 3.8 m and 4.0 m rods use three sections for a shorter transport length.
The 2.5 mm tips cover 14 g, 21 g, 28 g, 43 g and 57 g. The 3.5 mm tips cover 71 g, 85 g, 113 g and 142 g. Match both the diameter and tip rating to the compatible Inspire feeder rod.
The rods contain conductive carbon fibres. Do not use them during thunderstorms or near high-voltage power lines.
