The Preston Distance Cage Feeder is made for feeder fishing at range. Its bottom-mounted lead supports accurate casting in crosswinds while the cage releases bait during the retrieve.
The cage interior remains smooth down to the lead, helping bait leave the feeder instead of collecting at its base. This supports a clean feed release when the feeder is retrieved.
The lead shape helps the feeder rise towards the surface on the retrieve. This can help keep the rig clear of snags close to the bottom.
A heavy-duty monofilament boom and strong crimping are specified for reliable casting. The compact Micro size is available here in 25 g and 40 g.
Choose 25 g where a lighter option is appropriate. Choose 40 g when you need the heavier listed option, while both versions retain the same Micro size and distance-focused design.
