Attach the line to the braided loop to position the anchors for riverbed grip and a fixed presentation. Use the small loop between the anchors to reverse their orientation and let the cage drift slowly along the bottom. Choose the attachment point according to whether you want the feeder to stay put or move through the swim.
The 80 g version adds 10 g without changing the shared body size. Both versions have anchors and the same static or drift connection options, so choose by the weight you need rather than by cage size. No current-speed rating is supplied for either version.

The Preston Claw Feeder is a cage feeder designed for running water. Its anchors grip the riverbed in strong currents where a standard feeder may not hold. Two connection points let you choose between a fixed presentation and a slow drift along the bottom.
Attach the line to the braided loop for static fishing. This positions the anchors to grip the riverbed and keep the feeder in place. For drift fishing, attach the line to the small loop between the anchors. This reverses the anchors and allows the cage to move slowly through the swim, giving you a moving presentation instead of a fixed one.
This family offers 70 g and 80 g versions in one body size. Choose 70 g for the lower weight or 80 g when you want an extra 10 g in the same size. Both retain the anchor system and both connection options. The supplier does not specify a current-speed limit for either weight.
Designed for river feeder fishing, the Claw Feeder is also described for targeting carp, tench and roach. Each pack contains one feeder in the selected weight.
