Load the feeder with maggots or seal it with groundbait. The twist-lock window simplifies loading and allows fast or slow release, giving you a choice of release rate for the presentation.
The difference is feeder weight: 28g adds 8 g compared with 20g. Both measure 6 × 3 × 3 cm and use the same window system, so choose by the feeder weight you need rather than a change in size or loading method.
It is intended for feeder fishing for carp and other coarse fish such as tench and roach. The supplier describes freshwater use and also mentions brackish water. Its forward-positioned weight supports accurate casting, but no weight-specific distance or current limits are supplied.

The Preston Carp Maggot Feeder is a feeder for presenting maggots when feeder fishing for carp and other coarse fish, including tench and roach. Its forward-positioned weight supports accurate casting, including in wind or strong current, while the window system lets you choose fast or slow bait release. The supplier describes freshwater use and also mentions brackish-water applications.
The twist-lock window makes loading straightforward. Fill the feeder with maggots or seal it with groundbait for a secure presentation. The window gives you control over how quickly the bait leaves the feeder, so you can change the release rate without changing the bait-carrying concept.
This family contains Large 20g and Large 28g versions. Both measure 6 cm long, 3 cm wide and 3 cm high and share the same loading and release system. Choose 20g for the lighter option or 28g when you want 8 g more feeder weight without changing size. The supplied data does not specify casting distances or current limits for either version.
The wider supplier range also includes Small in 12g and 20g and Medium in 16g and 24g. These are separate size options, not the Large variants covered here.
Small parts present a choking hazard. Keep them away from young children. This product is not intended for children and is not suitable for human consumption.
