They add an extra treble hook to soft plastic lures for pike and zander fishing. Each combines a Predax steel-wire trace with one sharp treble, so choose the length and hook size to suit the lure and the intended extra hook position.
The options are 8 cm / 9 kg / #6, 10 cm / 14 kg / #4 and 12 cm / 18 kg / #2. Longer versions also have higher strength ratings and larger trebles. Check all three specifications against your lure setup rather than choosing solely by strength.
The trace consists of seven fine stainless steel strands braided closely together for a very smooth, soft surface. The even braid distributes load along the stinger, and the stainless steel resists rust. This construction is shared by all three versions, so the choice comes down to length, strength and hook size.
The dark coating makes the wire less visible at depth and avoids light reflections in shallow water. It provides an unobtrusive finish in both situations, and all three versions share it, so there is no finish difference to consider when selecting a size.
No. The pack contains two separate stingers in the selected version, each fitted with one Predax treble hook. You receive two identical units, not a double-treble system or a mixed pack of sizes.

The Predax Stinger 1x7 adds a sharp treble hook to a soft plastic lure for pike and zander fishing. Each stinger uses a black-coated Predax steel-wire trace made from seven fine stainless steel strands. Packs contain two stingers in the selected version, each with one Predax treble hook.
The tightly braided strands give the wire a very smooth, soft surface. The even braid distributes load along the stinger, while the stainless steel strands resist rust. Its dark coating makes it less visible at depth and avoids light reflections in shallow water.
The three versions differ in all three specifications. The 8 cm version is rated at 9 kg and has a size #6 treble, the 10 cm version is rated at 14 kg with a size #4 treble, and the 12 cm version is rated at 18 kg with a size #2 treble.
Choose the length to suit the distance to the intended extra hook position on your soft plastic lure, and check the hook size against the lure body. The 8 cm version offers the shortest reach and smallest treble. The 10 cm version sits between the other two in length, strength and hook size. The 12 cm version provides the longest reach and highest strength rating, but also uses the largest treble. These specifications increase together, so select the complete combination rather than strength alone.
