Each strength rating (6kg, 9kg, 12kg, 18kg) is optimized for different fish sizes and lure weights. The 6kg version uses thinner 0.23mm braid for finesse fishing and smaller pike. The 18kg version uses 0.46mm braid for trophy pike and heavy lures. Choose based on your target species and casting distance.
