The 9 kg version has a 0.28 mm diameter, while the 14 kg version measures 0.30 mm and offers greater stated strength with slightly thicker wire. The 18 kg version has the highest strength rating. All are 30 cm long with the same fittings, so select the strength required for your setup.
No leader assembly is needed. Each pack contains two finished traces, each with a swivel and snap. Connect a leader to your setup and attach the lure to the snap, keeping the second trace as a spare.
Seven fine stainless steel wires form an even braid with a smooth, soft surface and load distribution along the leader. The brown finish also reduces visibility at depth and avoids shallow-water reflections, making the trace less conspicuous around the lure.
