The football shape keeps the lure balanced as it slowly settles with the hook point facing upwards, rather than tipping over uncontrollably and covering the point. This supports longer bottom pauses when predators are slow to take the lure.
Size #1 comes in 3.5g, 7g and 10g, #1/0 in 3.5g, 7g, 10g and 14g, and #2/0 in 7g, 10g, 14g, 21g and 28g. Sizes #3/0 and #4/0 each come in 14g, 21g and 28g. Match the hook size to your lure first, then choose its weighting from the available versions.
Packs contain five heads for the 3.5g, 7g and 10g versions, and four for the 14g, 21g and 28g versions. Check the weight when comparing packs, because the heavier versions contain one fewer head.

These lead jig heads with baitkeepers are designed for soft plastic lures and bottom presentations. The football-shaped head helps keep the lure balanced as it settles, rather than letting it tip over uncontrollably and cover the hook point.
The head allows the lure to settle slowly towards the bottom with the hook point facing upwards. This makes longer pauses on the bottom an option when predators are sluggish and do not take the lure immediately. The baitkeeper helps hold the soft plastic lure on the hook.
Choose the hook size to suit your softbait, then select the required weighting from the combinations available:
Size #1: 3.5g, 7g or 10g.
Size #1/0: 3.5g, 7g, 10g or 14g.
Size #2/0: 7g, 10g, 14g, 21g or 28g.
Sizes #3/0 and #4/0: 14g, 21g or 28g each.
Within the same hook size, a lighter head adds less weight to the lure, while a heavier head increases its weighting. Not every weight is available with every hook size, so check both specifications before choosing.
The 3.5g, 7g and 10g versions contain five jig heads per pack. Versions weighing 14g, 21g or 28g contain four. All versions use a lead football head and include a baitkeeper.
