The hook hangs freely in an attachment eye instead of being fixed to the weight. This lets the softbait move independently and allows hook or lure changes without rebuilding the entire rig, useful when trying different shads while jigging.
The system accepts common offset and jig hooks. Attach the weight to the line or a swivel and clip the softbait hook into its eye. Hook size depends on lure size and target fish, rather than a single specified size, so select the hook to match your softbait.
Choose a single-weight pack when you want one weight, with options from 4 to 80 g. The five-piece assortment lists 6/8/10/14/18 g for changing weights within that selection. Weight affects descent and bottom contact, so compare the available weights with your depth and current rather than treating the assortment as a depth-rated kit.
Packs contain six pieces at 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 g, five at 18 and 20 g, four at 24 and 28 g, and three at 30, 35 and 40 g. The 50 and 60 g packs contain two pieces, while 70 and 80 g contain one. The mixed-weight assortment contains five pieces, so check both weight and quantity when comparing packs.
Yes. They are intended primarily for saltwater, but the supplier also describes the attachment system working in freshwater for perch and zander jigging in deeper water. The same hook-changing function is available in either setting, so choose the weight for the fishing conditions rather than water type alone.

The Pilkmaxx Mx Cheburashka is a quick-change lead weight for softbait fishing, especially bottom-contact jigging for perch, pike and zander. Its clip-in attachment lets you change the hook or lure without rebuilding the whole rig, useful when testing different shads or adapting the weight to changing current.
Unlike a conventional jig head, the hook is not fixed to the weight. It hangs freely in the attachment eye, allowing the softbait to move independently as you lift and drop it along the bottom. The supplier describes controlled bottom presentation and suitability for medium casting distances, including fishing around reefs, ledges and sandy ground.
The system accepts a range of common offset and jig hooks. Choose hook size to suit the softbait and target fish, with smaller hooks for perch and larger versions for pike and zander. Attach the weight to the line or a swivel, then clip the softbait hook into the attachment eye. No fixed hook-size specification is supplied.
Slim shads can be jigged along ledges for perch and zander. Larger shads can also be cast towards structure or trolled for pike. The weights are intended primarily for saltwater use, including coasts, harbours and groynes where currents change. The same attachment system also works in freshwater, including deeper perch and zander water.
Single-weight versions cover 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 24, 28, 30, 35, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 g. Choose the weight for the current, depth and bottom contact you need. Lighter weights give a slower descent, while heavier weights help maintain bottom contact as depth or current increases. No fixed depth or current ratings are supplied.
Pack contents vary with weight. The 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 g versions contain six pieces. The 18 and 20 g versions contain five, the 24 and 28 g versions four, and the 30, 35 and 40 g versions three. The 50 and 60 g versions contain two pieces, while the 70 and 80 g versions contain one.
A separate five-piece assortment lists 6/8/10/14/18 g, giving you several weights to try instead of a pack of one weight. Choose the assortment for weight changes within that selection, or a single-weight pack when you want the same weight throughout.
