The rings on the spool show how much line remains during a fight. They let you judge the remaining reserve visually, but they are not a numerical line counter, so do not use them as a precise depth measurement.

The Warfare Star Drag is a right-hand conventional reel for versatile saltwater fishing. Its HT-100 carbon fibre drag washers deliver smooth drag under heavy loads, while Line Capacity Rings on the spool help you judge how much line remains during a fight. The 20N is supported for offshore fishing, and the 30 for pirking and jigging.
A lightweight graphite frame and sideplates are reinforced with aluminium frame rings to improve rigidity and prevent frame flex. The forged and machined aluminium spool carries the Line Capacity Rings. Machined brass main and pinion gears transmit the drive, and Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward handle movement. Both sizes have three bearings and a comfortable handle knob.
Both reels have a 5.1:1 gear ratio, retrieve 86 cm per handle turn and provide up to 6.8 kg of star drag. Choose between them for line capacity and weight, not for a different retrieve or drag rating. Both have the handle on the right and a Black/Red/Smoke finish.

At the shared 0.49 mm diameter it holds 170 m more line than the 20N, with a 37 g weight increase. It is the higher-capacity option, with supplier-supported use for pirking and jigging.
Braid capacities also differ. Converted to metric and rounded, the 20N holds approximately 695 m of 9.1 kg line, 521 m of 13.6 kg line or 366 m of 22.7 kg line. The 30 holds approximately 901 m of 13.6 kg line, 631 m of 22.7 kg line or 526 m of 29.5 kg line. These are the supplier's braid capacities converted from yards and pounds, not diameter-based ratings.
Neither size comes pre-spooled, and neither includes a spare spool. Select and load your own monofilament or braid using the capacity figures for your chosen size. The spool rings provide a visual indication of the remaining line, rather than a numerical depth reading.
