Both lengths offer 100-250g or 100-300g. Choose the rating that covers your casting load. The 300 g version adds 16 g of rod weight at 4.20 m or 10 g at 4.50 m.
All models have three sections. The 4.20 m rods pack to 153 cm and the 4.50 m rods to 163 cm, so choose the shorter version if packed length is decisive. Packaging is a cloth bag.
The Hybrid Sensitip glows in the dark and has a slimmer diameter than regular Solid Carbon tips. Its sensitivity helps show subtle bites, especially in calm water, while the glow makes the tip visible at night.

The Tidal XT K Hybrid Sensitip is a surfcasting rod for saltwater shore fishing. Its slim, sensitive hybrid tip shows subtle bites, particularly in calm water. The tip is thinner than the regular Solid Carbon tips and glows in the dark for visibility at night. Supplier-listed applications include eel, cod, flatfish and sea bass.
The slim, lightweight carbon blank has a Fast action. X-wrap reinforcement reduces twisting to support casting accuracy and long casts. Eight Fuji K-type guides including the tip guide have Alconite rings. Both guides and reel seat are saltwater resistant. The DPS Type reel seat, carbon-fibre handle, X-shrink casting grip and rubber butt cap complete the rod. The casting grip provides a secure hold during the cast.
The 423 models measure 4.20 m and pack down to 153 cm. The 453 models measure 4.50 m and pack down to 163 cm. Choose the shorter version for less transport length and lower rod weight, or the longer version when you want more rod length and can accommodate the extra weight and packed length.
Both lengths come in 100-250g and 100-300g versions. Choose by the casting load you need, the 300 g version extends the upper rating but weighs slightly more. The 423 weighs 610 g at 100-250g and 626 g at 100-300g. The 453 weighs 660 g at 100-250g and 670 g at 100-300g. All four rods have three sections, a Light Blue finish and cloth-bag packaging.
