These telescopic surf rods are designed for saltwater shore fishing. Their slim, lightweight 24T/30T high-modulus carbon blanks use carbon X-wrap reinforcement to reduce twisting during the cast, supporting casting accuracy and distance. The sensitive solid carbon tip makes bites easier to see.
All three versions have Fast action and the supplier power rating Light. Four Fuji Stainless Steel O KW-Type guides, including the tip guide, provide the line path. The guides and Uplocking DPS Type reel seat are saltwater resistant. The Japanese X-Shrink Casting Grip has a shrink-wrap surface for a secure hold when casting. All versions have a Transparent Red finish and are supplied in a cloth bag.
The 4 m version is rated up to 120 g, weighs 420 g and has six telescopic sections. Its 146 cm transport length and lowest weight in the family make it the choice for lighter loads and easier carrying.
The 4.2 m version rated up to 140 g weighs 440 g. It also has six sections and packs down to 146 cm, giving you the longer rod without increasing packed length.
The 4.2 m version rated up to 160 g accepts the heaviest casting load in the family. Its five-section construction packs down to 160 cm and weighs 470 g. Choose it when the higher casting rating matters more than the extra transport length and weight. These are maximum ratings, not specified casting-weight ranges.
