Choose a 100-300g version for the highest casting-weight ceiling and Heavy power. It is available at 4.20 m and 590 g or 4.50 m and 630 g, so the longer version also adds weight and transport length.
Every version has a sensitive Hybrid Sensitip with a smaller diameter than regular solid-carbon tips. This improves bite indication particularly in calm water, so this feature is retained whichever length or casting weight you choose.
All rods have three sections and cloth-bag packaging. Allow 147 cm for a 423 model or 157 cm for a 453 model when choosing storage or transport space.

These three-piece surfcasting rods combine a slim, lightweight 24T/30T high-modulus carbon blank with a sensitive Hybrid Sensitip for shore fishing in saltwater. The tip has a smaller diameter than regular solid-carbon tips, helping show delicate bites, particularly in calm water.
Carbon X-wrap reinforcement reduces blank twist and supports casting accuracy and long casts. All versions have a Fast action. The full Shrink Wrap grip includes a Japanese X-Shrink Casting Grip for secure handling when casting, including with wet hands.
Seven Fuji Stainless Steel O KW-Type guides, including the tip guide, provide line guidance. The guides and Uplocking DPS Type reel seat are saltwater-resistant.
The 423 versions are 4.20 m long. The 50-200g version weighs 500 g and has Medium power, offering the lowest starting casting weight in the range. The 100-225g version weighs 550 g and also has Medium power. The 100-250g version weighs 560 g with Medium Heavy power. The 100-300g version weighs 590 g with Heavy power for heavier surf rigs.
The 453 versions are 4.50 m long. Choose 100-250g at 600 g with Medium Heavy power or 100-300g at 630 g with Heavy power. Compared with the equivalent 423 version, each adds 30 cm of length and 40 g of rod weight. Match the casting-weight range to your intended rig rather than choosing by length alone.
The 50-200g, 100-225g and 100-250g versions are Nano Blue. The 100-300g versions are Violet.
