The PENN Squall Low Profile combines a compact baitcasting format with a full metal body for active lure fishing in saltwater. Four 200, 300 and 400 size options cover left-hand and right-hand retrieve preferences.
The full metal body, machined brass gears and aluminum spool provide a firm foundation under load. A 5+1 stainless steel bearing system supports smooth operation, while the instant anti-reverse engages without delay.
A magnetic casting brake helps manage spool speed during the cast. The HT-100 drag system and star-drag adjustment provide measured control when playing strong fish, with maximum drag rated at 10.8kg on the 200 and 300 sizes and 9kg on the 400 size.
The 200 model is the lightest at 230g and retrieves 69cm per handle turn. The 300 models weigh 264g and retrieve 86cm, with left-hand or right-hand operation. The larger 400 left-hand model weighs 380g, retrieves 86cm and offers greater line capacity.
