These saltwater spinning rods combine a slim high-modulus 24T Carbon blank with a slightly softer tip for working jigs and detecting bites. The fast action and powerful lower blank support fish control during the fight.
All three versions measure 2.04 m. The 40 lb version covers 150–300 g jigs and weighs 307 g. The 60 lb version covers 200–400 g and weighs 306 g. The 80 lb version covers 300–600 g and weighs 324 g. Choose the range that includes your jig weight, then match the line class to your setup. The 80 lb version accepts the heaviest jigs but adds weight compared with the other two. The line rating is not a fish-weight or drag rating.
Seven saltwater-resistant, one-piece stainless-steel PENN Dura-Guides, including the tip guide, accommodate monofilament and braided lines. A DPS Type reel seat completes the spinning setup. Ergonomically shaped high-density EVA handles provide a comfortable grip and are easy to clean. The EVA butt has a gimbal with a protective cover for use with a compatible support.
The black rods have a two-section 1+1 construction and a transport length of 139 cm. They are supplied in a cloth bag. Their primary use is saltwater jigging. Supplier examples include cod and halibut across the range, with coalfish for the 40 lb version, herring for the 60 lb version and mackerel for the 80 lb version.
