The SQUADRON IV Halibut series is built for saltwater fishing for powerful halibut. Its slim 24T carbon blank combines a strong backbone with a two-piece construction.
The blank provides the strength needed to control hard-fighting fish. A graphite gimbal with a protective cover supports the rod securely during demanding fights.
PENN Dura-Guides have a one-piece stainless steel construction and are suitable for monofilament and braided line. The high-density EVA handle is ergonomically shaped and easy to clean after use at sea.
Both rods are 2.4 m long and split into two sections. Their 127 cm transport length makes them easier to stow on the way to the boat, and a cloth bag is included for storage.
Choose the 20–30 lb model for the lighter line class and a rod weight of 346 g. The 30–50 lb model raises the line class and weighs 373 g when the setup calls for the heavier option.
