The Squadron III Boat sea fishing rods are designed for drifting wrecks with lures and general bottom fishing for cod, ling and pollock. Slim, powerful high-modulus 24T Carbon blanks combine Fast action with a two-piece construction. Natural baits are also supported for the 212 6-12lb and 212 12-20lb models. The heavier versions suit halibut fishing in Norway.
The 212 6-12lb is 2.1m long, has Medium Light power, a 50–150g lure rating and weighs 303g. It suits bottom fishing in moderate depths. The 212 12-20lb keeps the same length but moves to Medium power and a 100–250g lure rating for pirks or natural baits in the North Sea, Baltic and Scandinavian waters. Its manufacturer-listed net weight is 1310g.
The 212 30-50lb offers Extra Heavy power at 2.1m and 359g for large cod and halibut. The 242 20-30lb offers Heavy power at 2.4m and 340g, giving a longer option for bottom fishing and halibut in Norway.
