The PENN REGIMENT IV Pro Boat rods are built for saltwater boat fishing. Their sensitive tips show and transmit bites, while the powerful backbone lets you put pressure on larger fish. The slim, lightweight high-modulus carbon blank uses SLS3 construction.
All three versions are 2.1 m long with Fast action. The 12-20lb model has Medium power and weighs 380 g, making it the lightest option. The 20-30lb model has Heavy power and weighs 400 g. The 30-50lb model has Extra Heavy power and weighs 420 g. Choose by the line class your setup requires, with higher power adding rod weight rather than length.
The rods accept both braided and monofilament lines. Eight SeaGuide guides, including the tip guide, guide the line, with saltwater-proof guides specified for marine use. A heavy-duty DPS reel seat keeps the reel securely attached. A cross gimbal provides a locating point for a compatible fighting support.
