The REGIMENT IV Boat rods are built for sea fishing with natural bait and lures, including flounder and other flatfish with bait and halibut with lures in Norway. High-modulus 30T carbon and SLS3 construction combine a slim blank with low weight and power for comfortable handling.
Seven saltwater-resistant SeaGuide aluminium oxide guides, including the tip, accommodate both monofilament and braided line. High-density, tapered EVA handles provide grip when wet. A heavy-duty DPS reel seat holds the reel securely, and the butt has a cross gimbal.
All three versions are 2.10 m long with Fast action. The 12-20lb version has Medium power and weighs 360 g, the 20-30lb version has Heavy power and weighs 380 g, and the 30-50lb version has Extra Heavy power and weighs 420 g. Choose according to the line class required by your setup. Moving up the range gives a higher line rating and power classification at the cost of greater rod weight. These ratings describe line class, not casting weight. The supplier describes bait and lure applications for the family without assigning individual fish species to specific versions.
