The PENN REGIMENT IV Boat Braid 822 sea fishing rods are designed for braided line when fishing offshore from a boat. High-modulus 30T carbon and SLS3 blank construction combine a slim, lightweight blank with the strength to handle the extra strain of braid.
Both versions have a Fast action and nine saltwater-proof SeaGuide guides including the tip, specified as Seaguide Titanium TiXOG. A strong DPS reel seat secures the reel under load. Ergonomic, high-density EVA handles provide a comfortable grip, with a rubber bulb at the butt for support during a fight. Both rods have a silver finish.
